Search by keywords
Enter one or more terms separated by spaces to retrieve images matching all of the terms. Use the Advanced search mode for additional options to widen or narrow the scope of your search.

Predefined keywords
Click the button next to each of the search fields on the Advanced search form to choose from a list of popular keywords.

Searching for a specific image
If you know the image reference number(s) the Advanced search form provides an option to retrieve one or more specified images.

Searching for a phrase
The Advanced Search form provides an option to search for 'exact phrases' such as "black and white" or "one girl only".  You can enter your own phrase or select from the predefined phrases by using the button.

All searches include colour and black and white images unless "black and white" is specified

Search by Photographer
If you have favour one photographer, you can search their images exclusively by using the "By Photographer" link on the home page or in the Advanced search form.

Search by Category
If you are looking for an image of a 'face only', use the 'By Category' search button on the home page or in the Advanced search form.

Your search returned 'no results'
Try using alternate spelling of words such as 'Kimberly" instead of 'Kimberley' or 'colour' instead of 'color'.  Variations of words may also increase your search results.  For example, 'sitting' instead of 'sit' or 'beach' instead of 'ocean'.

Too many search results
To refine your search results use the without words field on the Advanced search form to exclude unwanted image types.

Save to lightbox
The lightbox feature allows you to bookmark images for later review or purchase, even if you log in from another computer.
